About Tom Schlüter: Born in 1963, first piano lessons in Brussels at the age of 5, from 1982 classical piano studies in Frankfurt, Germany, 1986 musical stay in Brazil, 1990-1994 MD at the Varieté Tigerpalast in Frankfurt, Germany, 1995 director of the Tom-Schlueter-Band in the RTL night show with Thomas Koschwitz, 1996 MD of the rock opera Tommy, 2000-2020 pianist of the hr-Jazzensemble, 2000-2010 head of the recording studio Off Town Music, since 2011 freelance music & media producer. Also piano & director of the hr-Bigband with own productions. Music producer for Warner Chappell Production Music since 2024. In the studio, as a pianist and as a music producer, engagements in Paris, Naples, San Francisco, New York, Montreal, Havana, Warsaw, St. Petersburg and Moscow, among others. Musical collaborations with: Jermaine Jackson, Chaka Khan, Robert Palmer, Tom Jones, Percy Sledge, Teddy Edwards, Tony Lakatos and many more.
